University City is one of St. Louis County’s older residential neighborhoods.  Once a streetcar suburb in the early 1900’s, it boasts an abundance of historic architecture and a diverse and eclectic population.  Homes range in style from the historic and stately 2-story to the post war mid-century ranch you find near the city’s golf course, Ruth Park.

University City’s commercial district, The Delmar Loop, is a defining part of the University City and filled with local shops, al fresco restaurants, movie theatres, bowling alleys and is great for people watching. University City is also home to Washington University –one of the top Universities in the country which borders the crown jewel of the City of St. Louis, Forest Park.
